South Florida’s rise from the ashes

 

As predicted by the mayor of Miami during reconstruction efforts, South Florida would make a comeback. Pamphlets began depicting “invincible Miami.” It was a city thriving and once again offering every known attraction and recreation for eager visitors. Illustrations of South Florida’s beautiful infrastructure and its splendid amenities proved that the hurricane couldn’t stop the Florida boom from moving onward.
