Artbound 2011ARTBOUND 2011 features contemporary works by students making books in book arts and/or fine arts programs across the United States. The exhibited works have been selected by renowned book artist, photographer, and an alumnus of the University of Florida, Bea Nettles. Twenty-five handmade artists' books were selected for the exhibition from over 60 submissions.

James Haskins: Author, Teacher and Social Activist

Jim HaskinsThe Smathers Libraries and UF Center for African American Studies celebrate Black History Month with an exhibit featuring the life and work of Jim Haskins. Jim Haskins (1941-2005) was a University of Florida English professor and prolific author. Included in the exhibition are many of his books along with photographs, notes, awards and personal items.
